Welcome IoT Weekly News readers! While winter has hit and it's cold here in Minnesota, the IoT continues to heat up.

Our lead story is just hitting the wires as this issue goes out is about Google stepping up their game in the connected devices world. This is very interesting move and something that we will continue to watch and cover in future issue I'm sure. I was also blessed that an application that our team helped to develop for a client was covered in the local news. More details about that are in the second article below. I think you might might find it to be a unique use of Beacon technology.

This is a really cool article. It goes through what fog computing is and more importantly how it will be used in systems going forward.
