Welcome, AIoT/IoT Weekly News readers to issue 151. It's been a few weeks since our last update due to the 4th of July holiday break here in the United States and a busy schedule, but I'm back to bring you all the latest in current technology and trends of Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things and where they overlap!

First off, please checkout the latest episode of my Conversations on Applied AI Podcast. I was blessed to have had such a lengthy discussion with one of the pioneers of the third wave of AI, Peter Voss. Peter is a legend in his own right and doing some amazing work in the areas of AI with hyper-personalized assistants. Please check it out and make sure you listen and subscribe to all episodes of the podcast as well!

Additionally, we have an awesome Applied AI meetup coming up on August 5th where we'll be going through a Computer Vision (CV) implementation in Pytorch. IoT is all about getting data and applying analytics at the edge and CV is a great example of this. I hope that you can join us!

Finally, for those that might have missed it since the last issue, I was both interviewed by the Minnesota Technology Association (MNTech) regarding the internship program we have at Lab651 and additionally, being recognized by the Saint Paul Chamber of Commerce on their 2021 Executive List. I'm humbled and it was a great honor to be included with so many other executives doing great work in the city of Saint Paul.

I hope you enjoy this issue and continue to join me in this journey of exploring and leveraging the power of the Internet of Things and Machine Learning. Please contact me there are ways in which I can help your organization succeed when it comes to implementing these technologies across embedded systems, cloud, and mobile applications. I love to talk with people and learn how I can help. Enjoy!
