In this past week we saw some interesting development play out in the IoT landscape. One of them was further clarity around how Samsung's acquisition of SmartThings plays into their long term vision of solutions bringing together hardware, a cloud platform and tools into one package. I also find it interesting that not only on a commercial scale are we seeing companies put together solutions, but crowd funded options such as Esquilo are one of many providing options as well.
What this points to me is a continued validation that an entire solution is needed to fill a market problem that will involve looking at the entire stack to build fully engaging solutions.
I hope you enjoy this issue and please remember to tweet it to your followers!
