Greetings and welcome to the latest issue of IoT Weekly News!
This week I decided to focus most of this issue on the more "geeky side" of IoT. I picked a number of articles around the development aspects that go into building solutions for the Internet of Things. I've also included a project on hackster.io that Particle is doing along with an awesome Kickstarter near the end of this issue that you will definitely want to checkout you are into WiFi and Bluetooth. We start out however with a really cool story about Stanford Reachers treating Autism using Google Glass.
As a reminder, please be sure to checkout our sponsorship options. Being a sponsor provides you the opportunity to reach a wide range of IoT professionals every week. I hope you enjoy this issue and please tweet it to your followers!

OracleVoice: Java Creates New Big Data Opportunities
In the area of big data Java engineers are still in demand. I might argue that while Java is still used in this space it's really the JVM that is king and developers should be looking to languages like Scala as the likley winner in big data systems over the next 3-5 years.
