Welcome readers! I've decided to do something a little different this week by dedicating the entire issue to Healthcare and the Internet of Things. With an aging baby boomer generation we as a society will increasingly be looking for technology solutions to keep our family members active and independent. To that end, you'll find this issue focused on wearables, sensors, big data, connected devices, data silos and everything in between on the IoT that will impact healthcare today and in the future.
