Greetings! This past week was the Blackhat USA 2015 conference in Las Vegas. One of the major themes on peoples mind is how security is playing a vital role in the adoption of the Internet of Things.

If users don't feel their data is safe, adoption is going to be nearly impossible. Today each company is implementing various levels of best practices, but in the race to get something to market many of the tough questions remain unresolved. I personally feel at times that security and the IoT is a house of cards; a very real chance to toppling if we aren't careful to consider security in the solutions we build.
