It was a great week in the world of the Internet of Things! The big news was the announcement by IBM to invest $3 Billion to create an Internet of Things division. The greatest impact is that it brings awareness to big data, which is where I see the largest business opportunity for innovation and growth.
It was also interesting to see a lot of stuff crop up about investment and technology with autonomous driving vehicles ( drones too! ) and an extremely interesting breakthrough regarding batteries powering IoT devices for more than 10 years.
Finally, checkout our crowdfunding section on some of the items companies are working hard to get produced in the hacker/builder circles.
