Amazon to invest up to $4 billion into OpenAI rival Anthropic

Amazon announced on Monday that it will invest up to $4 billion into Anthropic — the AI startup best known for its Claude chatbot and founded by siblings Dario and Daniela Amodei who used to work for OpenAI.

GPT-3.5 Turbo Fine-Tuning and API Updates

OpenAI has released fine-tuning capabilities for its GPT-3.5 Turbo model, which allows developers to customize the model for their specific needs. Fine-tuned versions of GPT-3.5 Turbo have been shown to match or even outperform the base capabilities of GPT-4 on certain narrow tasks. The fine-tuning process can also reduce the size of the prompt, which can speed up API calls and reduce costs.
